The Paragon String Quartet formed from musicians who toured Europe in the late 1980s. The groups musicians have played for The ACO, Melbourne and Sydney Symphony Orchestra's and played with many performers including Elton John on his concert tour of Australia. Needless to say the group has played for many illustrious persons including Queen Elizabeth herself. Rebecca has performed as soloist with all of the Australian Symphony Orchestras, and was named as the 1996 Young Australian of the Year. During her residence in New York she graduated with a Masters degree from the Manhattan School of Music, and has performed on four continents. Greg�s vast array of influences and experience has honed an ability to alternate between musical genres seamlessly. Starting his career singing jazz and pop, Greg expanded his sights to the world of theatre performing in many musicals and operas.

The Carneval Strings have received standing ovations on tour with Tommy Emmanuel, Savage Garden and at The Victorian Arts Centre. Having studied both overseas and locally at the Conservatorium and Victorian College of the Arts, they are in demand as session musicians and have recorded soundtracks for films such as Elizabeth, Sliding Doors, The Man who Sued God and My Brother Jack. Over the passed 10 years they have had the pleasure of performing to many people including celebrities Kylie Minogue, Kimberley Davies, Darryl Somers (on Hey Hey It�s Saturday) and Robert Allenby. They have produced albums and are passionate about entertaining their audiences.
